Simon Brodie

Simon has been a excellent regular over the last year and if can curb his temper will be an excellent player in the next few years.  Having been a member of our club at the age of 15 and being part of our Centenary Celebrations he knows whats required of him.

Jessica Hopkins

Jessica is also one of our new female members of the club.  She is one of yougest players to be a member of the club with her brother Barry starting at a similar age.  After reaching the semi-final of our Fun Day the other year we expect great things from her.

Sandra Hopkins

Sandra is certainly not unknown to our club.  Her husband and son are already established bowlers for South Park and Sandra has been thieving our money and supplying drinks all last season! - She is also one of our new female bowlers who we expect big things from this year after shining in some of our open competitions.

Claire Morland

Claire is one our first ever female members.  Claire is not new to the game and has played for Cummins and the JUC Club in the Works League.  This year she has joined us and we expect to see her game come into its own this year.

Peter Boyle

Peter has rejoined the club this season after a short period in our B team 3 years ago. We are pleased to have him back at the club and hope to have him involved in league games and competitions in the near future.

Martin Snelling

Martin is one of our keen bowlers who is improving all the time. He has been a member of 4 years and has been loyal despite being reserve on in his early years. He is going to be a very good squad player and valuable member of the team.

Glyn Jones

Glyn has joined us from Central BC after bowling for them for many years. He is a very good team player and addition to the squad. He enjoys his bowls and can compete as well as anyone.

John Smith

John was a following spectator of the club for many years and was persuaded to play for the club. Now a member of 3 years he has quickly established himself within the team with good performances and is ambitious for success at a higher level, now nominating for County selection.

Tony Smith

Also a member of over 20 years, part of the same successful 1980’s team with County appearances. One of the best players around when he was at the peak of his game.

Barry Hopkins Jnr

Joined the club 3 years ago and is already following in his Dads footsteps, winning club competitions in his first year and now playing for Durham County regularly. Barry is one of our many junior players and looks to have great potential be a great player.
