Plate too easy for Scotty!

Scott Morland deservedly gave his Dad a lesson in Bowling twice yesterday to walk away with the Stan Johnson Plate for the 2nd year running.

After winning his group he continued with his 100% record to become champion.

The consolation prize of the Turner Trophy went to small Baz who despite losing all day came away with a trophy!!! - lol

He did beat Andy Bell & Martin Snelling in the bottom group to become champ of yet another trophy.

New Board

We now have access to the outside notice board, this will be a good method of advertising for members.

We now also have 10 more lockers, if anyone would like access to one please let me know.

Rothmans Champs

Baz & Baz win the Rothmans Pairs. Although this was a convincing win Simon Brodie & Andrew Bell can take great heart to get to the final in their first season. Maybe next year they can go one better.

Sandy reaches Echo Final

Sandra Hopkins convincingly defeated Scott Morland in the semi-final of the Northern Echo singles last night.

She will meet her arch rival Barry Hopkins in the final!!!!

This will be another works league title won by our Mech-Tool players.

Club Comps

The season is coming to close with only a few competitions left. The biggest game left is the Rothmans Pairs which takes place on Thursday between two of our teams.

Simon Brodie/Andrew Bell V B. Hopkins/S. Hopkins

The Harrison Triples have been won by 3 of our Mech-Tool team.

Barry Hopkins/Sandra Hopkins/Barry Hopkins Jnr

Tonight sees Sandra Hopkins play Scott Morland in the semi-final of the Northern Echo Singles.

Safety with a BANG

An impressive win sees South Park survive at the top level at its first attempt.

We beat Hundens 4-1 to secure out 1st division status.

Despite rumours of losing some of our top players we are already looking to improve next year and challenge higher up the table. We have many promising new recruits joined for Mech-Tool on a Friday night and feel with time they will be exceptional players in the District League also.

Keep all eyes on this site over the winter months as you will see developments and our progression with 2 teams in the Indoor league.

3 points

3 POINTS WILL NOW GUARANTEE SAFETY AFTER A 4-1 DEFEAT AT LEEHOLME.

WHILE I’M SUNNING IT IN IBIZA MAKE SURE YOU DO IT!!!
