On Thurs 4th March 2010 we had our AGM and following this, happily we are able to confirm that we will have 3 teams, one in the Darlington And District League, one in the Sherwoods League, and one in the Durham And District League. As you may have heard we have formed a new Works League Team called Mech-Tool South Park formed by Barry Hopkins.
We are awaiting confirmation from the league but has requested the entry of 2 teams A & B.
This is a great achievement for the club and going forward will benefit us in increasing membership and extra financial backing.
We still require many players to fill the B Team so please contact us if you wish to play.
Barry Hopkins Jnr has again done well recently. He represented Darlington U18’s as a triples team in the Scarborough competition.
Barry was unable to bring back the trophy but did very well in winning their group and reaching the quarter finals.
Our Trophy Cabinet has arrived and it is excellent. It is rather large with 2 shelve spaces.
All our trophies will soon be polished up with some old fashioned woods and a club history, all to put in the display.
